Today is ‘T’ day, the day that a very small number of people, 20,000 get a chance to buy up to four Olympic tickets from the 900,000 still available. Apparently all sports have some tickets left….
I was unsuccessful in the first ballot and again in the second chance sales – so the relatively small number of us who were unlucky on both occasions get first dibs on what’s left for a 31 hour time-frame. It turns out my youngest sister is also in this group – we’re not unlucky as a family as a rule, and I think our odds of getting tickets that we want this way are vastly greater than they have been in the previous two rounds.
So, wish me luck, at 11am I’ll be logging on hoping that the site wont fall over and I get what I want….we’ll see!!
